Elitis Pamir
Shiraz - Éclat d'ivoire
With Pamir, silk squares are flying off to meet new destinies. The creations slide onto the wall like precious scarves, revealing unique pieces that are suspended between art and material. On these immense handmade canvases, the extreme fineness of silk dialogues with the raw simplicity of craft paper, glued, painted or dyed by hand. The five designs and the plain reference can be read as a series of fluid and light paintings, each with its own rhythm, colour and character. In a tribute to the 1930s and 1940s, between modernity and craftsmanship, between Le Corbusier and Lalique, the light glides over the silk weave and catches the uneven surfaces of the paper, creating reflections of immense stained glass windows made of fabric and paper. Pamir transforms the wall into a precious scarf, unveiling refined and unostentatious worlds. In collaboration with Marie Papillaud and Vincent Gevin
