Damage in delivery

Farben Schaefer  makes every effort to prevent shipping damages. If although a damaged article is delivered, the damage must be reported to the transportation company immediately and within five days in a written form to Farben Schaefer.
Without a written confirmation of the transportation company we cannot deliver a replacement free of charge.

How to proceed:

• Do not sign for merchandise unless you inspected the items for damage
• If the item is completely destroyed don’t accept the parcel. It will be returned to Farben Schaefer and you will get a replacement free of charge.
• If the item has minor damages report the damage immediately to the carrier and ask for a damage protocol. As soon as you get the protocol please send a copy via fax, e-mail to us.
• Make pictures of the damaged parcel and products.
• Report any damage within five days in a written form to us.

 

Important update: Why we sadly can no longer ship to the EU

Hello dear wallpaper and paint lovers,

Today we have to share some sad news with you.

You may have already heard about it in the news: the EU has introduced strict new packaging regulations. While the goal is to protect our environment, as a small business this puts us in front of an enormous bureaucratic and financial challenge.

To keep delivering to you in your home country, we would need to register separately in every single EU country, pay additional fees, and take on a significant amount of extra administrative work.

As a small online shop, we simply cannot manage this financial and time burden right now.

What does this mean in practice?

Shipping stop: As of now, we can no longer ship orders to other EU countries. 

Orders in our shop: Our shop system will automatically block delivery addresses outside of Germany.

Shipping within Germany: Within Germany, we will of course continue to deliver to you as usual.
 

It truly breaks our hearts to take this step. Every single order from abroad has made us so happy and shown us how many people outside Germany value our advice and our products.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your trust, and your loyalty to our little shop. ❤️

We really hope that the situation will change again at some point, so we can deliver to you across the whole EU once more.
