Damage in delivery

Farben Schaefer  makes every effort to prevent shipping damages. If although a damaged article is delivered, the damage must be reported to the transportation company immediately and within five days in a written form to Farben Schaefer.
Without a written confirmation of the transportation company we cannot deliver a replacement free of charge.

How to proceed:

  • Do not sign for merchandise unless you inspected the items for damage
  • If the item is completely destroyed don’t accept the parcel. It will be returned to Farben Schaefer and you will get a replacement free of charge.
  • If the item has minor damages report the damage immediately to the carrier and ask for a damage protocol. As soon as you get the protocol please send a copy via fax, e-mail to us.
  • Make pictures of the damaged parcel and products.
  • Report any damage within five days in a written form to us.
