The Filara design combines a variety of artisanal handcraft techniques in a pattern with a distinctly vintage appearance. A woven raffia base is overlaid with fine embroidery and traditional crewelwork. This decorative technique uses wool rather than conventional cotton or silk threads, bringing tactility and authenticity to the design.
