Les Tapisseries
From the 14th to the 18th century, the interiors of castles and manor houses were adorned with magnificent tapestries. These hand-woven artworks depicted not only mythical scenes but also everyday life among the traditional upper classes. They brought warmth and colour to grand rooms and often served as captivating conversation pieces for guests.
Les Tapisseries is an ode to these sumptuous wall hangings. As an extension of Arte’s Décors & Panoramiques collection, it features five décors and five panoramas. Each design is inspired by a classic, centuries-old tapestry that has been reimagined and revived through a contemporary lens.
Escapade
The Escapade panorama, designed after a late-18th-century tapestry, evokes the atmosphere of a painted scene. It reveals a dreamy natural landscape that invites the viewer to wander and drift away, while the velvety-soft textile heightens the sense of luxury and elegance.
